We are honored to spotlight Trina L. Hill, most recently the Senior Vice President of Technology Consumer Bank & Treasury at Synchrony, where she oversaw operations for a bank of over 10,000 employees, leading a team of more than 1,000. Functioning as a CIO-level executive, she managed financial systems, treasury, and the bank’s technology operations while driving transformation and resilience at scale.
What makes Trina’s story remarkable is not just her executive reach, but her heart. She grew up with her grandmother, a faithful woman of the Lord, who modeled that leadership is about showing up in love. Trina reflects:
“You don’t have to be nasty. People will follow you. I am a person, not a position. My level of responsibility in this place is no different than others. I am made in His image.”
This belief has anchored her leadership style — one that embraces inclusivity and demonstrates that even in high-tech environments, people long for peace and light.
After decades in Corporate America, Trina launched TLH Consulting Enterprises LLC in late 2024, specializing in AI resiliency, governance, and transformation. She focuses on helping organizations navigate risks in AI implementation, govern responsibly, and build systems that last. Her professional mission is grounded in her conviction that resilience is both technical and spiritual.
But Trina’s leadership extends beyond the boardroom. She is a mother who recently released a devotional about letting go as her son went to college, turning her own anxieties into faith-rooted encouragement for others. She has spoken at major technology conferences, gatherings of women in tech, and continues to bring a unique blend of executive insight, faith, and authentic presence.
When I asked what she is praying for in this season, she shared:
“I am praying that God will give me impact, influence, and income, domestically and internationally. I pray that He will place the financial possessions in my hands.”
Trina is also developing a vision called The Wealth Quilt, inspired by God’s whisper: “The people are concerned with their scraps. The quilt is yours.” Her dream is to bring groups of women together in collaboration — pieces forming something greater, beautiful, and lasting.
From her blue-collar beginnings building motors, to leading transformation for a Fortune 100 financial institution, to launching her own firm, Trina embodies what it means to be resilient, visionary, and faith-driven.
