Annetta Caldwell: Her Story

Annetta Caldwell, founder of From The Flames Ministries, never set out to be a speaker or an author. In fact, she once looked at others walking that path and quietly thought, “I’m glad that’s not me.”

But God had a different plan.

Called to share the truth of what Jesus had done in her life, Annetta now boldly tells the story of how she was pulled from deep darkness—overcoming witchcraft, addiction, and sexual abuse—into a life marked by healing, purpose, and peace.

Through her ministry, From The Flames Ministries, and her powerful book “Caught,” Annetta shares a gripping personal narrative of redemption. Her story is not just about survival—it is about transformation. It is about grace that reaches into the deepest places and restores what was broken.

Today, Annetta walks in authentic forgiveness and freedom, and her mission is clear: to help others encounter the same healing power of Jesus and step fully into their own restored identity.

Her Journey

Born to Sam Assad Nasr of Damascus, Syria, and Edith Harrison Nasr of Menard, Texas, Annetta is the youngest of five children. She began life in the muslim faith. Her early years were filled with both adventure and creativity—summers in Texas exploring nature, a love for athletics, and a deep passion for dance.

That passion led her to train in hip-hop and lyrical dance through a performing arts program with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), where she learned to use movement as ministry—worshiping God and reaching others through creative expression on the streets of California.

It was also at YWAM where she met her husband, Ryan. Together, they built a life rooted in faith and ministry, eventually settling in Virginia where their family grew to include seven beautiful children.

Her Impact Today

Annetta continues to serve through dance ministry and creative worship, teaching others how to worship freely and authentically, and sharing her testimony to bring healing, deliverance, and hope.

Her life is a living testimony that no past is too dark for God’s light to reach—and no story is beyond redemption.

Crowned Reflection

Annetta’s journey reminds us: You don’t have to seek the platform when God has already assigned your voice.

What once felt like something “not for you” may be the very place God uses to set others free.
